It all started when...

I am a self taught artist and stay at home mom living in Utah. I grew up with a love of art inspired by my father who worked doing layouts for Rolling Stone magazine in it's early stages in San Francisco. I love animation and fantasy especially when it blurs the lines between real and imaginary. When I was young I had dreams of working for Disney but, life had different plans. So, four kids and two children's books later, I am doing art in the evenings, usually after my kids go to bed.

I typically work with a mixed media of ink, colored pencil and watercolor. I love to inspire people to daydream whether it's going for a Sunday stroll riding your cuttlefish, paddling your favorite sea horse down the river, or a world where robots eat bubblegum and ice cream. My mission with my art is to delight and inspire people to imagine, and I want each of my pieces to tell a story to the viewer. I hope the viewer takes the story further with the picture and decides what happens next.

One of the best compliments I ever received was "every picture makes me smile." My goal is that if I can shine my light and put a smile on someone's face, I can be an influence for good in some small way.
